What We Do

Family Connection Program

The purpose of our Family Connection Groups is to create safe spaces where group members share experiences about parenting no matter where they are on the parenting journey. Our groups are free, confidential, and open to anyone who identifies as a caregiver.

We also hosts Family Connection Events for individuals with Down syndrome, their caregivers and their siblings. Night at the Wild Things and our Playground Pop-Ups are listed below, but to learn more about and RSVP for upcoming events and programs, visit DSAP's Event Calendar here.

If you are interested in becoming a Family Connection program facilitator, please reach out to info@dsapgh.org.

Family Connection Events

DSAP is hosting a party at EQT Park with the Wild Things! Join us before the baseball game against the Evansville Otters in the EQT Pavilion for food and fun and then catch the game!

Located in left field, the EQT Pavilion features a pre-game, all-you-can-eat buffet with soft drinks. Buffet includes hot dogs(gf), burgers, baked beans(gf), chips (gf), salad(gf), fruit salad(gf) and cookies. (DSAP will provide gluten free hotdog buns and cookies) Buffet starts 75 minutes prior to the first pitch. (Buffet ends at first pitch)

There is also a kids area to play right next to the pavilion. When the game starts, you can move to our DSAP reserved seating or watch all the action from the picnic area!
