ReelAbilities Film Festival

Join us for the 13th annual ReelAbilities Pittsburgh film festival September 4-11, 2025 at the Pittsburgh Playhouse and online! 

ReelAbilities presents award-winning films by and about people living with disabilities. The 2025 lineup includes 3 nights of in-person fun—including 2 feature films, a shorts block of 6 films, after-parties, an art market with artists from Creative Citizen Studios and Studio Forget-Me-Not, filmmaker Q&As, and more! For folks who want to fest from home, the lineup also includes 4 virtual feature films and 2 virtual shorts blocks.

A father and son seek healing after a family loss in David Fortune’s stunning directorial debut. This black-and-white father-son story earned Fortune the prestigious Directors to Watch Award at the Palm Springs International Film Festival. Followed by a Q & A with the filmmaking team
