Healthy Sexuality Project Coordinator

Nova McGiffert (she/her), Healthy Sexuality Project Coordinator in the Health Equity Team, provides affirming training for self-advocates, families, caregivers, and providers using a disability justice lens. Training topics include healthy relationships, sexuality, gender identity, consent and boundaries, and sexual health. Nova manages a network of sexuality educators, trainers, and disability service providers to improve positive sexuality education for Pennsylvanians with disabilities. Nova has a BA in Sociology and more than 20 years of experience working with people with disabilities as a direct service provider, support coordinator, educator, and community organizer.
Izzy Kaufman
Assistive Technology Program Coordinator
Institute on Disabilities, Temple University
As Assistive Technology Program Coordinator, Izzy works with the TechOWL team on assistive technology acquisition and outreach. Izzy has a Master of Education in Human Sexuality Studies from Widener University. She provided comprehensive, disability justice centered education and training for the past six years. Izzy is a person with a disability, with a passion for empowering people with disabilities to have access to necessary products and services they so choose.
