Pittsburgh Buddy Walk Team Captain Meetup
DSAP is hosting a Buddy Walk Team Captain Meetup on Wednesday Aug 2 from 6:30-7:30PM at COHatch SouthSide Works located at 2681 Sidney St, Pittsburgh, PA 15203. This will be offered as a hybrid event with options to attend either in-person and via Zoom.
By attending this event, you will learn about:
-FUN-raising incentives
-How to share your "why" and personal story
-How to ask for sponsorships
-How to use Facebook and ApplePay as tools for donations
-Tools available in the Team Captain Corner.
-How to plan and host your own local fundraiser in your neighborhood
Additionally, those who attend in person will have the chance to win a DSAP Kennywood prize package of 2 admission tickets to DSAP's 2nd Annual Family Kennywood Day for the Team Captain and individual with Down syndrome, 2 food vouchers to be used at Kennywood Day, and 2 DSAP tie-dye t-shirts!
